We spent countless days and lives trying to train the people to fish for themselves when it came to security, and for what? Rigged elections, Taliban infiltration, and continued ethnic tensions among what is really their own people! (think Kurds) Now what do you suppose is going to happen in Afghanistan? More of the same--it's been happening over there for so long, it's become the norm. We can't even control OUR OWN corruption and Taliban infiltration here at home, and the sensible thing to do is see THEM til the end? I say we mobilize our National Guard here at home to protect US while the Guys in Green (Army and Marines) work on Afghanistan. But I wonder: who's going to protect us from the Communist and Socialist infiltration that seems to be going on in the White House?
